Our names are Navdeep ‘Navi’ Dhillon and Sean Creveling, welcome to OUR STORY!
Sean grew up in Glendora, California with his parents Kathy and Doug and his older sister Erika. He currently works as a Production Supervisor at Walt Disney Animation Studios! His projects have included Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto, and Strange World! Sean loves to hang out with his rescue kitty Sterling, play video games, visit Disneyland, and fall down random YouTube rabbit holes in his free time.
Navi grew up in West Covina, California and moved to Upland with her family 10 years ago. Her parents Millie, Narinder, and her younger brother Nathan have been putting up with her animal obsession since she was in elementary school. Navi works for Alta Rancho Animal Hospital and is currently attending Platt College to become an RVT. As of right now, she has one old fur baby named Niku, a black and white shih tzu, and a rescue mixed breed named Clark, although she hopes to own … a proper menagerie of pets one day much to Sean’s dismay.
We first met back in 2014 during winter break, but destiny decided our lives weren’t ready to sync up just yet. We dropped contact a few months after but, in the summer of 2015, we decided to try this out again and began our so called ‘beta test’. Fortunately for us, the test was a success, and we officially began our relationship on exactly January 1, 2016!
There were a few obstacles to overcome in those first few honeymoon months… Navi was still attending UC Davis and Sean was starting his production management career at a studio called Blind Squirrel Games in Irvine, meaning we were starting off long distance. (Shout out to Skype for helping to keep our budding relationship afloat.) As fate would have it, Sean was assigned to a project that landed him a sweet 2-hour drive from Davis, in San Francisco, and we were able to keep going strong until Navi graduated and moved back home in Summer 2016.
Since then, we have been driving around SoCal eating all the wondrous foods, seeing all the sites, adventuring around, and just basking in one another’s company. Navi continues to hone her dog sighting skills and Sean is learning how to coral her and politely explain not all dogs need her pets. We look forward to spending our special wedding week with family and friends in May 2023!
